Revising...
So, the main idea is to stay calm and focused!
If you're struggling with how to revise, work out what's best for you:
- It will help to make a revision timetable for ALL your subjects. That way, your brain is thinking about ONE thing at a time!
- During revision, work how it suits you - silence or music is fine!
- Eat well! Scientifically proven, blah blah... you know the rest.
- Pencil in breaks - food etc. - and days off!
If you're struggling with how to revise, work out what's best for you:
- Read and memorise
- Make summary notes
- Draw diagrams or illustrations to remind you!
- Work with a friend - test each other
- Make revision cards/notes for your bedroom wall/mirror/back of the toilet door!
- ASK YOUR TEACHERS FOR HELP!

When you're in the exam...
MOST IMPORTANTLY:
Your teachers will have done their best to prepare you.
Let's look at the things you CAN control on the day...
- Get a good nights sleep - last minute cramming is POINTLESS
- Make sure you eat breakfast! Your brain functions better when it is nourished!
- Be prepared: make sure you have everything you need! (That is the bare minimum of a PEN!)
When you're in the exam...
- Make sure you have everything you need on your desk. That is: exam paper, answer booklet, any supplementary materials
- Listen to any instructions you are given
- Read the questions properly, and NEVER leave one unanswered! An educated guess it better than a blank space.
MOST IMPORTANTLY:
PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU!
